Bermuda Vacation Rentals – Adding a Spice of Thrill to Your Vacation
Wanting to check for Bermuda vacation rentals, but afraid of the urban legends? Enough of myths. Bermuda is more than what folklore tells us.
Bermuda (also known as the Bermudas or the Somers Islands) is a British territory located in the Atlantic Ocean. It is in the east coast of the Unites States and is near Cape Hatteras in North Carolina. Bermuda is the oldest and most populated British overseas territory. The island’s capital, St. George’s, was established in 1612. Bermuda has a rich economy, with tourism as the second sector.
Bermuda is a splendid place not because it is mystical. It is marvelous because it is simple and quiet. Areas are not flooded with people. The nature gives perfect serenity. The sea is as gentle as a mother’s touch. Yet, do not get me wrong. Despite the tranquility of the island, it still has a wild side. Attractions increase every year as a lot of world-class hotels, resorts and other vacation rentals are established to cater the ever increasing number of visitors. I was in fact amazed as to how the place improved a lot since the last time I’ve been there. This place is definitely an ever-evolving, ever-improving tourist spot.
One of the things that should not be missed on this island is the Bermuda Festival. This is a month long festivity that is very popular among tourists. It will start on January 18 and will end on March 1. Another attraction of the island is the Port Royal golf course, designed by the world-renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1970. It has undergone a $14.5 million worth renovation to prepare it for the 2009/2010 PGA Grand Slam of Golf. Today, it is considered as one of the world’s premier public golf courses with its spectacular tropical scenery and breathtaking ocean view. Other attractions in Bermuda Island are the Blue Water Divers and Watersports, the Crystal Cave, Deep Sea Fishing, Bermuda Aquarium, Jetski Tours, and of course the famous Bermuda International Film Festival.
With the plethora of attractions and tourists spots, there must be a huge number of visitors. Well, indeed, there are. Gladly, these vacation spots are well dispersed. That is why people do not overcrowd an area. There are also lots of Bermuda vacation rentals that tourists can choose from. Some of the relatively affordable (affordable in relation to the quality of the facilities and services they offer) are the St. George’s Town ― $613 weekly ― with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom; and the West Whale Bay ― $840 weekly ― with 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Some luxury vacation rentals are the Warwick ― $1,225 weekly― with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom; and the Hamilton ― $11,900 weekly ― with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. These world-class vacation rentals promise to provide their customers the facilities they deserve and the service they want.
Visitors who want either a good taste of thrill or relaxation should come to Bermuda. With the large number of hotels, resorts and other vacation rentals, tourists can always be sure that they have a temporary home so they won’t be lost in vacuum and find their way back; thus battling the curse that the old silly urban legends always say.
I’ve been to the Bermuda several times. I keep going back there because of the culture and the splendid resources that it has. And, behold, I am still here ― alive and kicking ― not lost in the unknown black hole of the Bermuda Triangle. I am, however, saddened by the thought that people ― travelers and natives alike ― are somehow threatened with the curse of the Triangle. Although I am very delighted that still a lot of people and travelers go to Bermuda, I am nevertheless dismayed for the reason that they embark on the journey, blinded to see the “mystery” in the island. What tends to happen is that they disregard all other attractions and spots that the island gives them. This sets my heart in despair since as a traveler myself, I want everyone to realize the wildness of nature, the thrill of life, without dwelling on the supernatural. Mystery, I believe, needs not to be paranormal; more often than not, the things that we usually see, things that have unfortunately become unnoticed are the ones that need more attention, the ones that are in dire need of seeking.
