Cayucos Vacation Rentals – Living Life that is On-the-Go

By Alex

California is known as one of the busiest states in the United States. People are always on the go, and the economy is always ever-improving. But away from the hustle-jostle of the life in the metropolitan areas of California, there lies a wonderful utopia that is so relaxing you cannot get enough of it ― the Cayucos. With its increasing number of tourists who are attracted by the beauty of the place, no wonder why a lot of lodgings and vacation rentals were established in the area. Indeed, this is one of the few places in America where you can enjoy life at its fullest for just a limited period of time.

cayucos vacation rentalsCayucos is located on the coast in San Luis Obispo County in California. It is just along California State Route 1 in the middle of Cambria to the north and Morro Bay to the South, and is only 30 minutes far from Hearst Castle. Cayucos is between Los Angeles and San Francisco. From San Joaquin Valley, you can have a three-hour travel to get to Cayucos. This place is perfect for both summer and winter vacations. Here, you can have a sunny but cool summer and a sunny but moderate winter.

Historically, Cayucos was occupied by the Chumash people, Native Americans who are known for their inhabitation of the central and southern coastal areas of California. These people resided San Luis Obispo about 11,000 to 10,000 BC. Because of the Ranhco Moro y Cayucos Mexican land grant in 1842, Martin Olivera and Vicente Feliz occupied the area of Cayucos. In 1867, Captain James Cass settled in the land. He developed the area along with his partner, Captain Ingals. Just in October of last year, Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel Magazine included Cayucos as one of the “Coolest Small Towns in America.”

Visitors can enjoy rock fishing and surf fishing all around the Estero Bay. The peaceful waters enable activities like ski diving, sea kayaking, swimming and surfing, which everyone who wants to have a little adrenalin rush will surely love. Safety is always ensured with lifeguards and boats kept at bay.

Cayocos beach has also clean white sand. The long stretch of pristine beach is ideal for sunbathing and for children to play around. There are ready-made picnic tables and barbeque grills available in the area. You also need not to be anxious about parking lots. There is a wide parking area on the beach with guards that will ensure the safety of your belongings. The beach is also accessible to shops and restaurants where you can delight yourself in the souvenirs and foods which Cayucos is very proud of.

Aside from the beach, there is also a place called Hardie Pack. It is just a short distance away from the pier. There is a fresh water swimming pool in Hardie Pack which is open for everyone all summer. Adult visitors can have fun playing tennis while children can relish in playgrounds. If you are a golf player, you’ll surely enjoy any of the 8 challenging golf courses that are just 50 minutes away from the beach.

You’ll find a lot of vacation rentals in Cayucos. Some of the recommended lodging providers are the Cayucos Per View Suites, Cayucos Vacation Rentals, Beachside Vacation Rentals, and the Seelyon Beach Rentals. Cayucos Per View Suites offers luxury vacation rentals in downtown Cayucos. Units that they rent are complete with facilities and come in online reservation. Cayucos Vacation Rentals, on the other hand, offers a list of 50 available lodgings on the island. Prices are negotiable and, again, may be reserved online. Beachside Rentals has lodgings within 3 blocks from the beach. The Morro bay vacation rentals are ideal for romantic couples who want to enjoy the scenic view of the ocean. Lastly, Seelyon Beach Rentals offers a lot of vacation rentals; it even has full time rentals and houses for sale.

In Cayucos, you’ll always find yourself on the go. But unlike in urban cities, here in Cayucos, you are on the go not for business matter, but for adventure. With the wide list of hotels and vacation rentals, you’ll sure find your temporary home in this breathtaking paradise.
